Professional Experience
Alan has over 25 years experience in Business and Commercial Law. Alan originally practised as a Lawyer in South Africa until he migrated to Australia in 1986. Alan was admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria in 1987 and established his own practice in 1993 which he continues to manage.

Alan previously held positions with BHP Limited as a legal advisor in their Goldmining Division and Baker McKenzie in their Insolvency and Litigation Division.

Alan currently advises a tertiary academic institution on their requirements for admission of foreign students to practice and sits on various boards in Australia and elsewhere.
